For over 40 years Caran Precision has been a leader in the support and manufacture of components for the aerospace, ordnance, ballistic and explosive industries. It has excelled in tight tolerance production, thin wall and concentricity control. The precursor of Caran was involved as one of the founders of Sierra Bullets, later Spiveco, Inc and currently Berger Bullets.

Additionally, Caran Precision and had involvement in a number of other ballistic, ordinance and pyrotechnic activities. Caran Precision continues this progression of specialized and important business by supplying percussion cups, booster caps, and igniter tubes primers and detonators.

The controlled explosives industries that we serve include Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Mining, Fire Retardant, Canopy Ejection, Missiles.

Caran designs and manufactures all required tooling in house. Our quality control system is the highest in the industry.
